Following God's Plan For Your Life

Planted Place

 

One of the biggest outtakes from this message for me is the importance of your planting and your planted place. What a privilege it is to know that I am where God wants me to be, and that God has called me to this place out of love and grace. With being in your planted place comes a lot of room and place for development, both corporally and privately. The biggest component of all of this is to seek first the Kingdom of God!

When we seek first the Kingdom of God and all of His righteousness, when seeking God’s plan for your life, God will honour you and give you the answers according to His

perfect will. In this God puts us in our planted place where we grow and develop. In my case I am at MiXchange, a ground upon which to serve but also to sacrifice and develop my spiritual strength. God prepared this planted place with confrontation that I daily need to stand up to as a test that I can’t fail but just retake if I miss it (Deu 12:5-11). I must constantly remember that our fight is not against flesh and blood, so in our growth with one another (growing pains included) we defeat the devil with ease as an ecclessia as we grow in love with one another. 

The blood of Jesus has given us authority, and I need to take it and stand in that authority and use it daily in the good fight we fight. A weapon that satan tries to form against us is comparison and in our context we have a lot of people in the office. A place where the devil wants to always tell us to ‘one up’ each other or say that ‘you aren’t as good as someone else’ but we do not compare. I am on my own journey with the Lord, ultimately I am responsible for my own spirit life, no one can do things for me. We are walking alongside one another helping each other grow and encouraging each other. In my growth, the highest honour is to be a son/man of God in my spiritual maturity, to get to heaven and hear the Lord say “Well done my good and faithful servant”.

With that comes actually growing and understanding that there is no shortcuts unlike the world system. When learning about your plantedness and being uninstitutionalized, how to hold your tongue and understanding the power that lives within it, developing your faithfulness, keeping an open heart that’s teachable, we cannot skim over these things. It is no good to use the lingo of the church and talk like the church out of performance but have no understanding and not live in the power of God’s promise. We need to keep our dream big factor in the church and not let the natural dampen it. 

Before I am able to live out all of these things and to reach these points in my faith, it starts with small beginnings. Do not despise them as they help you grow. A great example is David. Rick Renner’s testimony of when he joined his church for the first time is a great example of being faithful in the small things. It teaches you humility, and understanding that you didn’t go anywhere without the grace of God!
