Breakthrough

Highest Level Conference

Message Takeaways

Brother Joe: Brother Joe’s messages, the first being centred around I Corinthians 2:1-7 were perception changing. The biggest standouts for me from the message was: the power of Jesus is far for more powerful than eloquent speech; we’re in this conference to raise up the Lord to the highest level possible; if it is not the spirit it profitith nothing; you cannot lead without serving;

don’t let your pride get in the way of obeying God’s voice and be like a child in Christ. What I took away from all of this is what Pastor John had been preaching on for quite some time, we do not live in performance but in the power of God, we are mere presenters of God’s power and we must allow ourselves to let Him work through us. In saying that God is able to come to us in any way shape or form, we must not stonewall the anointing seeking eloquent speech and fancy teachings when God could come to us in the most mundane things. Your gifting also elevates eloquence, it elevates a perch that you try to sit on but we are called to humility and we are called, not by our gifting but by God. The Lord wants to cut those impurities such as arrogance out of your heart and calls us to change. With all of that being said we should walk in the spirit because if anything is not in the spirit it profitith nothing. So we should be like Jesus in the sense that we speak only what we hear from the Father. Before we are able to lead and use our giftings in the Lord we are called to serve, your pride should not get in the way of obeying Gods voice and all of the small beginnings we’re called to. So be a child in Christ! We also heard the four rules Brother Jerry always teaches namely: shun the very appearance of evil; a mans gift will make room for him; our calling is to bridge the gap between the travelling ministry and the local church and lastly flow withthe vision. With all of that being said, we must remember – in order to be in God’s perfect order and not just what is acceptable, we have to ask ourselves “what, where and when” to align with God’s perfect plan not only for us but for others too!

Brother Eric: Brother Eric’s message was centred around the story of David and Goliath in I Samuel 17:4. Hearing Brother Eric’s sport background was nice for reference for me. Having someone to relate to, even somewhat, is alway nice. Taking the principals from a sporting world and learning that they are easily transferable into your spirit life is such an encouragement. The big takeaways from his message, for me, were: going higher is your choice and no one can choose it or do it for you; not to conform with the norms of this world; understanding that in order to go higher your foundation must be great; only what is done for and in Christ lasts forever and that champions are finishers.

Brother Tony: Brother Tony shared his very powerful and impactful testimony with us. The crux of the message was based around acceptance of outsiders into the church but moreso about being reshaped. He based his message around Jeremiah 18/29:11 and 15. I heard in the spirit the reaffirming of God’s love and grace through brother Tony’s testimony. A big lesson came to me in the form of: “You need to be looking, watching and expecting. If you aren’t looking, you’re lost. If you aren’t watching, you’re blind and if you aren’t expecting, then you’re wasting your time!”

Brother Jerry: Brother Jerry taught us all a lot and there was much meat to feed on for us all! I praise the Lord for our connection to Brother Jerry! Here are a few snippets I took away from the messages as there’s simply not enough hours in a day to go over everything in depth. When it comes to seed, seed lnows nothing else other than to grow (even through rocks). A seed needs to be significant if you are really looking for that breakthrough or desire of your heart with many reference in the word! Believe in the soil, believe in your seed, be a god tither and remember you are blessed to be a blessing. Don’t become need minded, become seed minded. When you talk to God about a need, He’ll talk to you about a seed! If you sow generously you’ll reap generously! Sowing once in a while doesn’t make you a seed sower becayuse a sower continuously goes out a sows. Sow your best! God’s nature is abundance. God gifted us: diminion and authority; the blessing of God and seed! God’s plans are perfectly built to last! “If it ain’t good it ain’t God”! If you’re waiting on God, God is waiting on you! If you arent seeing the glory the God be fed up, be desperate, don’t accept a life without glory or good living! Mix your faith with word being preached! There is nothing more powerful than a focused life! Set the Goal, stay focused and never give up! Take accountability for your walk with God.
